Tent stuck in tree

Had a slight drama where I placed a tent too well, got it kinda fully under a pine tree. It actually worked well initially, as to acess the 'gear' interface with the tent worked from only two precise angles.. and the save tent option was only at one of those positions. I worked out how to quickly access the gear menu.. and it was looking pretty good. In the process of loading the tent up with various items, trying to place a map that just didn't want to stay inside (just learned that anything from the toolbelt is counted as a 'weapon', which would explain it when I thought it was classed as an item of 'equipment'.. even though there was only 30 equipment items in there), the server crashed and rebooted. When I got back in, my tent was still under the same tree, but now raised about 1 foot higher than originally placed. When I tried to access the gear interface, no matter where I stood, (standing, prone or crouched), no matter what angle or distance from the tent, I cannot get my gear interface to work.

I was hoping that a server restart might move it again and make it more accessable, however the server where the tent is placed on has mysteriously gone offline for the whole day.. hopefully it'll be back up soon, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows a sure fire way to access a tent that has 'moved' up a tree?

Same problem for us, a tent worked fine for like 2 weeks, inside a pine tree, now it has moved from last server restart, and is now raised like a little of the ground, and i cant access it.

been 2 server restarts, and nothing has happened.

Also our car has moved from one side of a pine tree to another... weird.

Server finally came back up, and yes, duplicated all the previously re-packaged tents again. Stuff that was in one tent is all there (phew again), but the tent in a tree is still there, raised to high to be able to interface with.

Is there any decent way to knock down the tree? Will this cause the tree to fall on the tent and squish the tent along with every item in it? (The only reason I'm so concerned is due to there being a M24, L85, FN FAL scoped, Bizon SD, matches and a tonne of ammo.. half of my teams 'lets raid the airfield' cache). Will blowing up the tent cause the items to dissapear with it? I do have a frag grenade to try either option, but only as a last resort.
