nemorus 265 Posted June 4 Back in the day cars were making ruckus when players were entering their vicinity (bubble). It was supposed to be fixed. Currently though if a player gets close to a base (doesn't matter which one), then said place will make sounds by itself. Construction kits, installed logs, wiring... All that assault players with cacophony - a real-time alert really. But there is something even more ridiculous. Portable devices which also detect players. If a person comes into certain range, the device will alert others with sounds. Any type of locks - from vanilla's combilock to modded codelock. But these have to be deinstalled from gates first - this enables radar feature. It detects other actors on the map - from animals to vehicles. Is it nuts? Wait for this one: construction light does the same thing. By default! Should i report this via hidden ticket? I should. But frankly i don't care. After all this time i truly don't care. It's like with the bandage. They added option to use it continuously - but did not do it for other consumable items - like sewing kits. Things need same methods applied but its never done. How easy is to cheat in this game? And even if you don't want to. You cheat simply by hearing things you shouldn't. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This problem in fact is not something new. In fact it was always happening. Lately they've added a bunch of new sounds - and the problem become even more evident. But I have never heard locks randomly make a sound when another player enters the vicinity. I suspect this is only heard by the person causing the noise, and can not be used to detect people. See if its clicking when getting close to vehicle, animal, player. About 100 meters detection circle. Seen it on germany servers, french, polish, american, uk, russian... In fact i'm using this platform here to hear from other people if im right. It should be. Different servers, different computers, different networks and same problems. If you know that it works like this, others will also know that it works like this... and you wrote it in the forum... it's not a strange exploit for an "IT technician" with complex procedures... perhaps it would be appropriate to make it public, at least you allow everyone to "defend themselves" (at least being informed) from this flaw... which I believe, however, many will already know. It is precisely by "hiding" the defect that you create discrimination between those who already know it... and those who don't know it yet. I think you should really make it public. And maybe... maybe... just if it's public... a lot more people will complain and maybe... maybe... it will be easier for the B.I. try to fix the defect. Did you know that the bolt makes "random" noises every now and then without specific events? At least once he did. This game is so full of "anomalies" like that, I'm tired of keeping up with it...
