Door randomization on restart

Agreed, and maybe preset that all doors shall be closed.

Some of them locked - which would make sense in apocalypse. Why would original owners leave without locking their houses? But first this "randomization" that only works partially currently. Player must get close enough for the game to magically open certain doors before his very eyes - that is misleading.

I didn't quite understand what the author of the thread wants, but in my opinion the state of the ports should always be saved and recovered at every reboot.

No idea what you are saying but what i am saying is ever door is closed upon restart which i dont think it good because it makes tracking players for the first 30 mins very easy because open door = player has been here

Maybe it's because I don't play much lately, but it seems to me that at every restart the doors are randomized. And that, to me, is bullshit. The state of the doors, like everything else "mobile" should be saved and restored upon restart exactly as it was before the restart.
