hunter_bob 0 Posted March 21 (edited) This is a rant, i know there cant be anything done from the dayz staff team here but regardless i want to voice my concern. I've been playing Dayz standalone since it came out on steam and I bought it in the first week. I have well over 3600 hours in the game and much more modelling and importing textures for servers. Literally a few days ago I got a ban from battle eye and still I haven't heard back from these folks on what happened just an e-mail saying that they got my e-mail and that they're looking into it. You know I've had this game since it came out and I've been working on modded servers and playing with modded servers. I did map design, texturing, model import, as well as scripting for these servers. Countless hours of work outside of the game just expanding on it and this is how I get repaid? And on top of this I have no idea if I'm able to keep playing the game from a different account or even if it's safe doing it because I don't even know if some of the software I used to import textures and models and me testing out the scripts that triggered the anti cheat or if I did something wrong got the ban because of copyright on the stuff I imported into the game. Or if even someone stole my cd key seeing that other people are complaining about bans despite not playing the game for years or months. Does anybody know how this system works and if you can get a battle eye ban for modeling and texturing and importing stuff into the game files for workshop items? If it's even worth putting your effort and time or did I do something wrong in this process and is that why they're taking so long to get back to me? Literally countless man hours put into this and I started really getting into the whole modeling and texturing and scripting but just one mess up and you're done?
