Point us naabs in the right direction :)

Hey people.

I recently bought ARMA II CO for the sole purpose of playing DayZ, after watching some videos and talking with some friends about it.

So me and my friend got going, six launcher up and found the same server with a nice ping. We learned to find some of the right houses and found some weapons and it was all good.

But being new to the game i want to survive this apocalypse, but there seems to be an INCREABLE amount of survivors that doesnt want me and my friend to survive lol :)

So the million dollar question:

Are there any server (at all) out there for newbies, where we can meet other survivors and actually survive together? i know bandits is a part of the game, but does everybody have to be a bandit? :)

Perhaps some players that wants to have some fun together?

Regards

A stressed newb :D

Shoot on sight unless you know them personally.

Im the admin of the Colorado servers. Colorado 2 and 3 are a great place to meet people. They're 30 man servers, just be friendly with people. I run a team of 17 people that operates on Colorado 2. Were friendly unless you shoot at us or walk up on us really quick with out obeying our initial commands. I highly recommend joining our teamspeak prior to loading into the server and find out which server these guys are operating on and talk with them, if you're friendly with them in teamspeak. My team will most likely come pick you up on the shore and bring you gear.
