Different playstyles to give more challenge and fun?

Only had the game 4 days so far, but I've hit near end game item potention a few times and thought "wtf I do now?". I'm not into pvp in this game. I have dozens of other games that are pure pvp and I'll stick with those for my pvp itch. I love the co-op survival aspect of this game and trying to think of ways to make it better.

Today, I decided that I will only allow myself to visit a town once and can only loot each building once. I can switch servers how often I'd like, but once I looted a building, it's done!

I feel like this will give me a better challenge and more realistic fun.

The main drawback to this game I feel is that everyone just finds a good farm spot and server hops continually and gets amazing gear in under an hour.

I admit doing this my first few days and camped vybor for about 2-3 hours and pretty much had all the best gear outside the super rare items.

This reminds me of the magic find runs in diablo 2 heh. But it sadly makes the game much too easy and underwhelming.

What are some playstyles you guys do to give yourself some challenge and fun?

I'm even thinking of trying to do some achievements I thought up for fun!

Examples are:

-Get all food/water from nature only

-Loot every building in a town without firing a shot and without changing servers

-Escort a person with a broken leg (they can just prone crawl to mimic) across a town/city with a group size less than 4 (not including the cripple as they should be weaponless)

-Genocide: kill every zombie in a town. Although probably not possible due to spawn timers.

-use only hatchet for 100 zombie kills

What you do (refuse to server hop/farm) is basically how i've been playing ever since I've got the game. It is not supposed to be a "different playstyle to give more challenge and fun" as you say. It is supposed to be the standard playstyle. Unfortunately though many choose to exploit the game's mechanics and farm.

For people hungry for a new way to play, thats pretty much what you do^

Alice pack, pistol for self-defense, hatchet and backpack full of food and medical supplies.

use crossbow, but that might too slow paced as you have to be very stealthy, but having zeds coming at you when you have to wait what feels like 4 years for the crossbow to reload is pretty exhilarating.

Try to rob people without killing them. Thats the funniest thing to do ever.
