dnoparker@gmail.com 3 Posted July 6, 2012 My computer doesn't have anything special and I manage to run the game on lowish settings. At first it was unplayable but then I did the RamDisk thing and I can run the game perfectly now :)
Wessie4life 3 Posted July 6, 2012 I have the exact same specs on my laptop, turn graphics to low in game and it'll run perfectly, may work well with higher graphics but my laptop gets hot enough as it is!
Sterling (DayZ) 22 Posted July 6, 2012 Your graphics card is one of the worst GTX 600 cards on the market, you'll probably have to play on low settings.
FrankFisher 46 Posted July 6, 2012 Damn, that sucks, I really want to play on High settings, can someone please post their specs if there able to play DayZ on high
Sterling (DayZ) 22 Posted July 6, 2012 I'm comfortably playing on High settings, I've tried Very High and my frame rate is just too crazy there, with Quality Preference: High at 1920x1080 I have a steady 40+ FPS, sometimes getting into the 30's when things are getting intense (explosions, looking at vast quantities of land, etc). Here's my desktop's build:I5-2310 2.9ghz quad coreSapphire 7850 OC Edition - I can further OC it to 1000/1350, but I haven't done this for this game, I only do this for Battlefield 3 + when I FRAPS games.8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz RAM1TB 7200 RPMCorsair GS 700 WattWindows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Viewsonic 22" 1920x1080PThere's other things too like I use the Cooler Master Storm Enforcer case, an extra 120mm fan, a H60 Liquid Cooler for CPU, Razer Deathadder mouse, etc.
