LowKee84.1 6 Posted March 17 I think footprints would be cool. If its recently rained and you walk through muddy/grassy areas you leave a trail behind you. Takes a certain while to dissappear, heavy rain washes them away, slight rain makes them go quicker. Different footwear makes for different length trails and changes how long they last. I like the idea of more effective tracking mechanisms, like say I stab a zombie, some kinda marker so next player to come across that zombie corpse can kinda figure out how I'm playing. nemorus 254 Posted March 17 There was a mod with such tracking mechanism. Seen it once years ago on some small polish server. Player could inspect corpses and learn certain things through that. But footprints on the other hand would be too much for this game - it's the engine... Maybe in next version, enhanced reforger. But that won't happen in this "DayZ".
