Fix for tree pop ins?

Recommended Posts

all my graphics settings are set to extreme yet I'm still having pop ins with trees and bushes clipping in and out from blurry to sharp and it wasn't ever a problem before

I seem to remember that you need to set the global quality setting to it's highest setting to get maximum view distance/minimum pop in regardless of the other settings. So if you start with global quality on low but change everything else up to extreme/high the global quality will change to 'custom' but still retain the low view distance. Or something along those lines ;)

That kinda makes sense but no matter what I try it reverts to custom. Could I pm you on discord or something? to show you video of it.

yeah it will change to Custom the moment you adjust any other setting... just ensure you start with max overall quality

this video and the first comment might explain it better than me ;)
