Proposed counter to the bandit

Right now the bandit is an attribute given to players who are aggressive to other people, pvp.

Pros - cool non-starter skin

Cons - labeled as a pvper or hostile target

To counter this why not try to reward players who survive for aprox 6 days (ingame life time).

Pros -

non-bandits receive body armor (or just nvgs) for surviving 6 days. which includes a new skin.

Players who survive for 6 days and are bandits get a unique reward but do not receive body armor. Just a new skin, possibly sniper camo.

Cons - harder to survive or recieve reward for bandits due to bountyhunters who receive little or no penelty for putting a bandit down.

Arma II already assumes body armor in damage calculation for the most part. In other words it does effectively nothing to stop you from being incapacitated, but a bit safer from being killed outright.

I think right now the humanity system just needs a long hard look. Currently skin doesn't mean much if anything for how you should judge other players.

Whole bandit system should be removed (it can't be done)..

Why put lables on people anyway, there shouldn't be any way to identifying eachother (whos good, whos bad) other than the face skin and speaking to oneanother.

For a proper bandit system to work you need to account for who fired first (misses included), just can't be done in this game.

I think you should just be able to choose whatever skin you want. This system to identify trouble makers doesn't add much to the game for me. If I have to defend myself from hostile noobs who don't have bandit status, then I get it and someone will just shoot me because I have a skin. I don't like it at all and think it should be taken out.

In my opinion, if the player doubles his starting Humanity (EG: 5000 Humanity) his skin should be changed over to another "Good" looking one. Maybe then that will make people stop shooting some other players for no particular reason.

I have become a bandit now due to the fact I have been getting shot and killed way too many times. I now shoot on sight, but I attempt to stay away from the major cities and let the either new players, or spawning players get their equipment and then head out.

As the comment above states "I think you should just be able to choose whatever skin you want." This is where I have to sort of agree. I would like to be able to wear multiple different skins at times, Maybe add an in-game currency to allow you to buy items like Permanent Clothes from static, A.I. driven NPC's.
