How can you restore your blood?

Hi my guy is preety low on blood, does it regenerate or do i have to find an item for it?

Basically i was outside elecktro and heard gunshots coming from a store. i decided to investigate and entered the store from the back but ended up having 3 zombies following me in. i quickly shot them but all of a sudden over 10 or so had sprinted up to the windows and were walking in. i panicked and tryed looking for any ammo in the store. all of a sudden a couple of gunshots was fired and i was unconsciues on the floor. after my character woke up i quickly bandaged myself. i noticed there were hardly any zombies in the store apart from 2 or 3 that didnt pay much attention to me. all of a sudden a guy with some ghille suit popped out from the window and started shooting at me. i quickly took cover behind some shelves. he ran to the entrance of the store and started walking down. i quickly popped out and shot him in the chest and he went down. i shot him again and checked his gear. i was panicing and just decided to take his map and watch. i sprinted out of the store and back to the field. i shot 2 zombies following me and ran further the the outskirts of elecktro. thats where i am so far.

i normally wouldnt wanna ask for help but i dont want to die because of this asshole who randomely shot :@

iv had this mod for a day and i am really enjoying it so far though :D

If you don't have any items that are really that valuable (sounds like you don't) then you might want to think about just dying. If not, you can get to a hospital and get a blood bag, but you need a friend or someone to apply it to you.

I think food and drinks also add a bit to your blood level as well, but I'm not sure.

Canned food adds 200 per meal. If you manage to get a knife you can kill and gut animals. With the raw meat you build a fire with a hatchet and matches and cook them. These restore 800 blood per.

If you get a hatchet (to cut wood), a box of matches (to make a fire), a hunting knife (to gut the animal) and a weapon to kill an animal - then you can take advantage of cooked meat. Cooked meat restores 800 blood a serving. A cow yields 8 pieces of meat, so that is 6400 health. Canned food yields 300 blood a serving. Once you have the gear, it's easy to keep yourself alive.

The other alternative is to get someone to give you a blood transfusion. This requires a blood pack. It restores you to full health.

You need to get back into town and get some supplies.. as said above you need food. Cooked meat is by the best.. 800 blood per steak.. matches are the hard thing to find. Cans will help.. but you'll need a lot as they are worth 200 each. One cow as a comparison is 8 steaks at 800 each!

Or find a very nice survivor with a blood bag.... good luck with that.. :p

You can kill the animal with the hatchet and canned food gives 200 blood. Other than that this post pretty much cover it all.

Note: only foods replace blood, drinking soda does not.

Blood bag: Full restore / 100% blood

As long as you are over 9000 blood you are doing ok and usually can recover without much issues, below 3000 and when you start randomly going unconscious you either need a blood transfusion or go suicide.
