From beginner to advanced, our system ticks all the boxes and can be fun for everyone. There are provisions for PVE, PVP, as well as players looking to survive in a more realistic environment. This project is geared more towards interaction + survival than it is pvp arena style gameplay. FEATURES 🎒 Lifestyle◽ Learn about our 4 different Lifestyles you can roleplay inside of at: https://www.dayzcolony.com/lifestyle/ 💰 Lifestyle Specific Traders◽ To create a living breathing economy, each Lifestlye has their own trader. These traders have different things available which results in players interacting through commerce. 📜 Quests◽ Each Lifestyle has their own Main Storyline Quests as well as Side-Quests (approx 300 Quests). All Lifestyles have access to Outlander Quests which include Questlines from Green Mountain Prospectors (Green Mountain) and The Scamp Family (Kamyshovo Docks). There are Random Quests and Custom Location related Quests. 💭 Lag-Free Network Bubble◽ Players from all over the globe can play on our server lag-free due to the Network Bubble and our high end server machine. ⛔ NO-KOS◽ Outside of Hot Zones, you there is a NO-KOS rule as well as a Passive-Mode. Learn more about it at: https://www.dayzcolony.com/rules/ ⚙️ Proprietary Mods◽ DayZ Colony has mods and gear that can only be found on our server. ⚒️ Custom Locations◽ 20 custom built locations that have their own lore. Adventure this lore through the respective Quests. ⚔ Hot Zones◽ Hot Zones are PVP Zones where KOS is legal. In your map, all major Military Bases and Airdrops have red circles that show them as Hot Zones. When you enter or exit a Hot Zone you will get an in-game notifier. 🌙 Night Cycle◽ We have a very small night cycle, like ~12 minutes. We know it gets dark so we've tailored the time to an acceptable duration. Night time is a great time to get sleep to restore your characters rest meter. 🏰 Buffed Base Protection◽ Our engineers feel that a players time spent building a base will never be equal to raid tools so we've disabled them. If you want inside a players base, you're going to have to get very creative. 🏃 Stamina◽ We have modified stamina to an acceptable duration. ⛽ Gasoline◽ Gas stations are turned off. You can acquire gasoline through coastal gas station traders, in regular spawns (at a lower spawn rate), or commerce (Colonists sell gas at the lowest price). 🏹 Expanded Hunting◽ The Free-People have robust access to our Dynamic Wildlife Systems, but this doesn't mean you can't try and track them on your own. Grazing patterns change often. What was there today, might not be there tomorrow. 🍖 Food◽ It's been several years since the outbreak of infection so canned food is rare. Search Garbage Cans and Shake Tree's for quick and immediate survival. 📋 Rules◽ All of our rules can be found here at https://www.dayzcolony.com. When we had 4 servers (including the #1 global) we had a much more relaxed rule-set, but over time we realized it didn't work out well so we created a more structured set of rules that works for everybody. We still wanted to keep it as natural as possible, but you will have to remember a few small things. At the end of the day, the rules are the glue that keep it all together. HOW TO JOINSteam We highly recommend setting our server to your favorites manually through the Steam Launcher. The server search in Steam is well bugged and DZSA sometimes takes a while to update after a mod update. Use these instructions below to join. DZSA If you're a dedicated DZSA user, just stay as you are then, no need for manual instructions.
