No reaction to getting shot

I just shot a guy in the head (helmet) with an AK 101 from 150 meters. He twitched a bit, but showed no further reaction, didn't go KO. Then he sprinted towards me fullspeed, i shot him in the thigh. His legs didn't break, he didn't go unconscious either, neither did his sprint get slowed at all (he just got shot in the head and leg with an AK within five seconds).

Then he took aim at me, i shot him in the arm or vest, he again did not react at all, no twitch, his aim was completely straight and he instakilled me with one bullet.

It would be nice if someone getting hit straight on in the helmet with an AK would actually go KO, or if a bullet directly hitting your shooting arm would make your aim twitch at least a little bit.

There are a lot of hackers in this game, but what you say is more likely to be a delay. Today I shot a guy several times and it looks like not one shot hit him.

It looked completely free of lag and hacks. It was a regular DayZ situation as intended by the devs. The question is why do the devs intend for someone not to get knocked out by a straight headshot with an AK? Or the legshot right after? Or why do they intend for AK bullets to the arms, that are zooming in on someone not to shake their aim at all?

It was like I was fighting Ironman, he took three bullets and just ran out of cover straight towards me in the open and insta-headshotted me without any signs of pain or damage xD (except for the headshot twitch).

Which is why people are running around with modded .50 cal or similar. These tools ain't giving any chances. Vanilla weapons are garbage - especially 9.39 rifles...

Last time i was playing, some dude took 9 shots from SKS of mine before he kindly teleported back to the beach. All of them shots found their target without a doubt, pretty much point blank to the head and neck. Sure, he was geared with top level modded armor but.. c'mon. Point blank to the face it was!
