I have a question

Well, I'm new here and well here is my problem. 2-3 Days ago when I was playing Day Z I logged off with around 6k or 8k blood. Now, when I came back to the game today I had 12k blood. So I was walking around and got my ass kicked by zombies and I'm down to 1k blood. I don't want to start over because I have a gun and few other stuff. So I'm wondering do I restore my blood over time? Or was it just a random bug? Thank you in advance. :-)

Same happend to me. I had 7k blood and a broken leg (deerstand ftw). Pissed off - logout.

I logged back in two days later - no broken legs, 12k blood.

I must search the wiki for this...

There are currently three different ways to regain blood.

Eating canned food will give you 200 blood a piece.

Eating Cooked Meat, found by killing animals in the wild, gutting them with a hunting knife, and cooking the meat over a fire, gives 800 a piece.

Blood Bags will replenish you all the way to full, but can only be administered to other players, meaning that you can't use it on yourself.

There is no automatic regaining of lost blood. What you've experienced was a 'bug', it happened to me once too. A very helpfull bug in this case.

All what Amentes told you is correct, these are the 3 ways to regain lost blood.

Oh, and next time maybe you can give a more meaningfull title to your thread; like 'does lost blood restore over time?' or something. Thanks in advance.

It's simply a bug, but also don't get attached to your gear. You can see in my Quick Start Cherno guide how fast it is to get gear (if you are lucky), but otherwise you WILL die at some point, so get used to losing gear.

I'm not really attached to it, it's just my first time getting one so I would like to kill some more zombies with it. ;p
