Microphone does not work after windows update

My JL Labs microphone stopped working-- on ONLY Day Z.. All other games it works. So, I know it is not; My computer. Mic. Steam. Setup. Or other titles. The mic works through steam ON the other titles and it just MAGICALLY stopped working here. I am noticing that this is NOT a uncommon occurrence.. Can ANYone help me??
