FurryGoat 0 Posted September 24, 2022 Hi So I have a functional 1.18 stable server and client setup, things work as expected inc mods. Problem I'm having is that I installed the DayZ Server Experimental and the DayZ Experimental programs, set them up as I normally would setup a DayZ server instance and client (installing mods manually on client). However while I can join an unmodded 1.19 experimental server, I cannot join any server local or community thats running mods, even when said mods are running on both server and pc. Instead in the launcher, the number of mods are in grey not green and I get "Manual Setup May Be Required" instead of the usual setup mods and join server, yet the mods are listed in green as normal with "Load <mod name> from library", if I try "keep current selection and join" I get kicked with a message about the client having a mod the server doesn't (despite the server running said mod) and that there is a missing PBO (which there isn't). I've verified files on both server and client, uninstalled and reinstalled both, uninstalled and reinstalled mods, verified that vanilla is working, verified that windows firewall is set to allow access for both DayZ and DayZ Experimental and no joy. I'm at a total loss as to what I'm missing... Can anyone shed any light at what's not right? Parazight 1599 Posted September 24, 2022 What’s not right is adding mods to the experimental branch because it doesn’t help to squash bugs or test new mechanics. I reckon it’s not intended for strong user experiences.

Point of adding the mods is to look for compatibility issues ahead of the actual stable release so I have a rough idea of what might or might not cause issues, saving time and headaches
