ARAMBA328 1 Posted June 17, 2022 How about adding the mushroom effect of "hallucination"? Ask how it will work? And it will work in such a way that when eating mushrooms of a certain kind, the hallucination effect will be prescribed. The player will see hallucinations of, say, ghostly animals, zombies. And the most interesting thing is that such a "hallucination" can be considered as a replacement of the player model with a zombie model. That is, if you play in a team, your partner's model can be replaced by a zombie model after eating a mushroom.
Parazight 1599 Posted June 17, 2022 Please no. Not related to any existing mechanics or gameplay loops. Doesn’t sound like an authentic experience from taking psychoactive fungus, anyway.
NateLapT 11 Posted June 17, 2022 As a mod sure.. Mushrooms that make you sick sure but they need a very distinct look other than the current rotten look.
Parazight 1599 Posted June 18, 2022 Unless you know what you're doing with mushrooms, it's really a gamble. Your chances of not getting ill increase when you cook mushrooms. This doesn't guarantee safety, but it doesn't hurt. Taste is often better, too. Making you vomit from a stomach ache is authentic, not eye-rolling hallucination suggestions. imo. Former Echo Trooper 8 Posted July 2, 2022 Are there shrooms of this type, native to the game locations? If not, then a hard pass. If so, bring on the purple rain.
