The effect of mushrooms.

How about adding the mushroom effect of "hallucination"? Ask how it will work? And it will work in such a way that when eating mushrooms of a certain kind, the hallucination effect will be prescribed. The player will see hallucinations of, say, ghostly animals, zombies. And the most interesting thing is that such a "hallucination" can be considered as a replacement of the player model with a zombie model. That is, if you play in a team, your partner's model can be replaced by a zombie model after eating a mushroom.

Mushrooms that make you sick sure but they need a very distinct look other than the current rotten look.

Unless you know what you're doing with mushrooms, it's really a gamble.  Your chances of not getting ill increase when you cook mushrooms.  This doesn't guarantee safety, but it doesn't hurt.  Taste is often better, too.  Making you vomit from a stomach ache is authentic, not eye-rolling hallucination suggestions. imo.

Yes. People that go out in the forest in East Europe to pick mushrooms need to be aware of what they're picking.
