busscottaround 3 Posted June 15, 2022 Not sure if anyone else has started this topic yet. This has affected players other than me. Since the 1.18 update I am unable to change my controller to the configuration I am used to and have been playing for years. In all actuality all I really need to do is invert the vertical. When I activate this the mouse does get inverted but it wont work for a controller. I have tried playing with a keyboard and mouse but because of past accidents both my wrist have been broke. Not at the same time and not the same way. The injuries make it uncomfortable and eventually painful. I can only really play DayZ with a controller. Without the ability to change my controller I will be unable to play a game I have been playing for years. The only game I have been playing for years. sdcrittenden1966 2 Posted June 16, 2022 (edited) Same here Binding change leaves default binding on controller line as in "Right toggle up + Right toggle down" and they cancel each other out making right joystick on controller unfunctional and no way to invert camera view. In the patch notes it states that "PC players will welcome a more structured keybinding menu" what about PC players with Ergonomic issues that can only use a controler? Screw them? You have caused all those with such limitting diabilities to be shut out of this game, Bring back the PC controller binding options. StoneDustButze 0 Posted June 18, 2022 to play with a controller on pc is now like take it or leave it. why do they screw the binding up more with each update. everything work well with 1.16. now controller bindings are completely fixed and no sensitvity options available? please show some love for controller players on pc. specially when the game has a console port. busscottaround 3 Posted June 20, 2022 Well, I check daily to see if it is fixed yet. Going through withdraws. There are a lot more dealing with this. There have been questions asked by others and the answer was "We are working on it." This makes me feel a little better cause first I thought they did this on purpose. Waiting. Trying other games. Nothing up to comparing with DayZ. Not gonna play Rust. Sorta seems to me like a DayZ PvE. Quite a bit boring. Really hope they fix it soon. Can't play it otherwise. Sure, it’s terrible because they can’t actually interact well with its customer base but they CHOSE to not use the forums for this reason. Notice how there are no moderators here.
