Has anyone ever been saved by another survivor in the most insane circumstances?

This happened a while ago - but I was watching the medical tents at Stary Sobor for some military grade loot with two of my friends. We had decided to leave after getting some gear and promptly left in the field near the area.

All of a sudden, three bandits open fire on us. Both of my friends are killed. We managed to kill one of them (I am pretty sure anyway) but I was knocked unconscious.

As I lay in the dirt, bleeding out, I know my end is near. One of the bandits comes over and points his revolver right in my face and I know this about to be the end. Suddenly, the bandit collapses after I hear a mega loud explosion, blood spewing from his head. Another two shortly follow - and then I'm being dragged into the woods.

Turns out a mega-bro sniper happened to hear the gunshots and came to my aid. Truly the best save that could have ever occurred.

Tried to snipe some zeds off a guy with "no" ammo in his lee enfield.. When I was done he shot me.

Awesome story lol

I didn't have the luck you did when me and my friend when to stary. A group of 5+ bandits shot at us from the hillside with the forest behind the military tents. Anyway while on the hill we get shot at, I hide behind a tree and my friend looks with his binoculars and gets shot straight in the head. looking at his dead body i just book it and run saving my own life in the process.

I wish more people would act like this is a survival game,
