At the moment, the cold system is not working properly. The character always freezes, even in the warmest clothes. The only difference is that in light clothes he freezes quickly, and in warm clothes he freezes slowly (but still freezes). At the same time, it almost does not matter whether the character is full or not, day or night, wet or not. The status of heat has ceased to occur at all (except when sitting by the campfire). Light clothing has lost all meaning, since it is only suitable for rags, if you try to dress the character even in a sports jacket and jeans, then he will just start to freeze and get sick.
The status of cold defies logic - I dressed the character in a warm coat, hunting pants, gloves, ski mask, warm hat, I run like crazy, and the status of cold just drops to blue, then for no reason begins to rise to white (even if I don't run), and after a while it goes down again.
I suggest the following;

- add warm and cold days to Chernorussia, so that sometimes you need to dress warmly, sometimes you can and should walk in medium and light clothes

-fix the cold system so that the character does not freeze during the day in warm clothes and medium clothes.

- return the heat status with excessively warm clothes.

I've not found this. Once you have all the warmest clothing and healthy status you don't catch cold. I've only ever caught a cold if I've been a fresh spawn, at night in the rain.

i was playing dayz right now, and my character, despite the fact that he is wearing a down jacket, winter hat, hiking boots, constantly makes sounds of a freezing person, the cold indicator turns blue. 1 time running in medium clothes (light jacket, work pants, hat), my character got sick at all (it didn’t rain), it’s especially hard when you prefer easy running to sprinting. which is strange, my character did not freeze only with a heating pad or during an illness.

yes, the character starts to tremble, make those sounds that a freezing person makes, the cold indicator turns blue. this happens even during easy running. I noticed that a recently spawned character, even dressed in average clothes, does not freeze for much longer. now I have a new character in jeans, a cap and a down jacket, but he is not cold yet, although the weather and time of day are the same, and he is not dressed as warmly as the previous one

From what I know terrain elevation = colder

Even so, I think "Best" insulation should be stronger, maybe even cause yellow temperature if sprinting in warmer areas.
I have had some weird times where my character was fully geared but cold, although I didn't run a Backpack and I had a Helmet instead of a warm hat + I was at Tisy MB which is at high elevation, so that could explain it.

So are you saying it's working as intended now?

Hello Artemio,

I don't have that problem either, it also depends on the location where you are and also details such as if you get the sun or not.
I move around the north a lot and I usually wear a hunting jacket and pants, a balaclava, combat or tactical gloves, and assault or jungle boots. With this kit, it gets cold occasionally (without being wet) and not sick.

Wet you will always be cold no matter what clothes you wear.

Greetings

Так ты хочешь сказать, что теперь все работает так, как задумано?

I didn’t play anymore, so I can’t say, but usually like this - you spawn, get dressed - you don’t freeze, you run for 10-20 minutes, and for some reason the character starts to freeze, although the time of day and the weather have not changed (he doesn’t get sick often, but it happened ). maybe this is due to a change in geography, maybe it's colder away from the coast?

thanks, maybe it's valid in the location on the map
