Base building suggestions

Hi

Me and two of my mates recently did few very successful base raids acquiring 9 crates worth of high end loot including 4 NVGs. But the ease of gaining the access to those bases made us wonder if we should build our own or just keep our buried. So I think few changes need to to be made.

First and foremost :  increase base resistance, we play on a community server with increased base resistance and it still took only 10-11 grenades and 5 minutes with axes to get in, mind you we had to go and get more nades from a nearby base but it was still merely a 30 min job. I remember blowing up a wall with 3 or 4 on public which is laughable. Why would anyone bother spending long hours needed to find all the tools and materials to make a base only to have it blown to smithereens by a bunch of assholes (like myself and mine) in 5 minutes with a few grenades which aren't that rare. 

Now I'm worried that when I said increase it what you heard is make 50 stronger. No. Double it at least, if not triple. Bases are defenceless most of the time and the map isn't that big. Which means sooner or later someone will find it. And while if someone does find and puts the effort to get in they should by all means be rewarded for their efforts it shouldn't be as easy as it is now. 

2. If the engine allows it, make it possible to put metal sheets on top of the wooden walls to strengthen them, even better you can make the metal sheets stronger on their own. 

3. Double wall. Allow players to put planks or sheets on both sides of the fence kit. Which would effectively double the resistance of the base.

Decrease grenade and ammo spawn, simple solution. Fine tuning the CE could solve so many issues that are being poorly solved through systemic balancing.

Imagine one grenade on the entire map, one mine, one NVG, no count in flags, 6-8 hour restock. Very basic, but makes items more valuable yet still realistically attainable. Grenades are too easy to gather in large quantities. Even solo. 

You are correct that base walls need to be buffed. 6 grenades destroys a wall on official. It should be 10 with the system I describe, and 12-18 (2x-3x like you said, @General Zod) in the current system. I also like the fortification you describe with a second layer. That would work nicely in combination with the sheet metal, or a double plank layer.
