DefectiveWater 533 Posted December 6, 2021 Just few suggestions regarding dynamic gas zones. I love that you guys added more PVE into the game, but I feel like dynamic zones are missing much needed possibility to survive them. #1: The red flare indicator is hard to spot during day time, and I feel like that should also be looked into. Would be nice if warnings were transmitted either through walkie-talkies or the PA system. #2: Dynamic gas zones should be a weaker form of gas that is only bad to breathe. No bleeding/gas poisoning through the bleeds. Gives players with gas masks a chance to loot the zombie-free area. #3: Dynamic gas zone duration should be shorter or dependent on the wind speed in the game. The more windy it is, the shorter the gas lasts.
Ermanhaut 16 Posted December 10, 2021 #1 Agree 10/10 #2 This would make gas masks a must have and would create interesting encounters. Maybe force a loot cycle inside the toxic zone, a 20% chance for every spawn. Wouldn't be OP because toxic zones are moslty sparse and would create an incentive to explore it. #3 Agree

Would make having a mask and going to the zones worth the time if you are starving and such. Edited December 10, 2021 by DefectiveWater 1
Tristan Cooper 12 Posted December 27, 2021 I like this idea. I’ve only actually seen one gassed area and didn’t know gas masks were actually functional yet. Would it be easy to see like the current ones, or maybe sneakier but with generous time to react. Like your character coughing and covering mouth for a few seconds (like 30) before taking damage. I think realistically a weaker gas would be less dense, and consequently less visible.
General Zod 1118 Posted December 27, 2021 Yes on all 3, even though I doubt the wind dispersing will ever happen
