Better security against cheaters please?

DayZ right now is infected of cheaters, is actually the most viewed topic about "Dayz" in general. Just check Youtube, go and write "***" you will see lot of recent videos with thousands of views.

I know what are you about to say... maybe something like... "stop playing in official servers"? Is not just official servers, actually they are on private servers aswell, each day more.

I have never seen a dayz admin being able to create a Youtube channel based just on catching cheaters; now we see how they are able to base their content just on that.

We need more security, this is infected.

The popularity of a topic does not equal to its prevelancy in any given system. Cheating is an issue in DayZ, but that isn't anything new. Every competitive game suffers from it and there are no practical ways to combat it. Our best bet in the future is to limit play-access to only cloud-streaming services, which would make it considerably harder to cheat, but that is not without its own drawbacks, which most of us dont want.

So I'm not completely sure what cheating actually looks like in DayZ, but me and my buddy keep dying as soon as we start building bases and it just doesn't seem right because we both die at same time and we don't hear gunshots or anything. I don't know how far it has to be to not hear but each time neither hear anything and once I died 1-2 seconds before he did and was inside laying down and he didnt hear anything. Maybe we're trash and just getting clapped but I dont know

Just check youtube about that topic, you will see lot of recent videos, with actually thousands of views. Its "trending" inside the term "dayz"
