New setting or temporary defect?

Lately, following the new (unfortunate) patch, I don't play as much anymore. I logged in today and, in the game from the Steam overlay it no longer loads any player name, it seems the server is always deserted.
What is it, a new unfortunate setting of "paranoia" or "distorted vision" of the game ... because it's just a game ... a fucking game just for fun ... and you can also see it well from all "poetic licenses" that are taken with respect to what "should" be the reality of the context that the game purports to present.

More and more disappointed and embittered... 😞

Probably done to stop stream sniping and stalking in general.

Good change for streamers and stops the meta a bit.

Play something else for a bit and then in a month or so come back. It does help. 😉

Right now playing Back 4 blood, its really decent.. then after a while i Will come back to my one true love.

After a while I tried another hive on another server and everything seems to work as before... maybe it was just a temporary flaw.
You, however, always defend these "parasites" of the streammers and denigrate with haughtiness enough all those who do not see this game as you do, eh?!?

I'm not defending anyone. I'm just telling you how the situation is.

Not seeing player names in a Steam Player list is a good change even if it was a bug. We don't need META bs in DayZ.
