elitachi 0 Posted July 7, 2021 (edited) Hi I have a DayZ SA server running, but have a couple of problems. Its working fine and people can join, but there are 2 issues.... First issue is that I am getting errors when people join that indicate that the server cant run a ban check on the guid with the battleye server, the error message is this ... Verified GUID( ........) of player # (name) Could not connect to BE Master Disconnected from BE Master Ban check timed out, no response from BE Master The second is that the CFTOOLS website cant seem to see the server despite it showing up in both the DZSA Launcher and in the DayZ browser, and as I said before, players can connect just fine. If anyone can shed any light on these issues it would be appreciated, especially for the BE Master problem, as I cant remove the join password and go live for the dayz community to join, if the ban check isnt working properly. Thanks Edited July 7, 2021 by elitachi
THEGordonFreeman 664 Posted July 7, 2021 Check documentation for Battleye and CFTools, you need to open ports on your server.
NoBeansForMe 14 Posted July 7, 2021 The first problem, "Could not connect to BE Master" is a really old problem. I've had it myself occasionally when I ran a DayZ server a while back and a quick search shows people having this issues as far back as 2007. Consensus seems to be BattlEye is having server issues and it's not much you can do but wait until they have resolved it. Give it some time and check the logs again and see if it can connect. As for CFTools not being able to connect to your server, I don't know, I've never used them myself. If it is an RCON service they provide they usually require you to specify the IP and port to your DayZ server for them to connect to, which should have been provided to you by your hosting company. If I'm not mistaken it's called something like the RCON query port or similar. If this is the case, all I can think of is that this information is incorrectly added, or you have to open ports for the connection in your firewall, like THEGordonFreeman said.
