Thanatos (DayZ) 2 Posted July 6, 2012 I don't see much harm in the occasional hacker adding an illegal vehicle as long as it's a very rare occurance and they risk a ban.Just imagine that it was the military who were hunting down survivors to prevent them from migrating further from the infection hot zones and you got unlucky.I would love to suddenly see a jet drop a JDAM in the center of Chernogorsk. :DIt adds to the feeling of trying to survive in an utterly hostile world with remnants of the worlds military forces trying to do damage control.I know it sound a bit like I'm condoning cheating but I am not.It's just better to pretend it's just another crazy DayZ encounter than to get angry as long as they aren't autokilling or aimbotting or something like that.Or maybe I'm overthinking it a little. I spent most of my hours in ARMA pitching AI forces against eachother in the campaign editor just to watch things explode with a bunch of amazing visual effects mods running like WarFX Blastcore.I would set up a huge tank engagement in the desert, have special forces raid a town with chinooks or stuff like setting up an ambush with an IED and have other AI drive a convoy through it just to see what would happen during the mayhem.Just watching as a civie from a hilltop at night with all the tracers flying around and smoke plumes underlit by burning vehicles and buildings was awesome.I had mods for cluster boms, a MOAB and other cool stuf like AI scripts but I never tried the nuke. Same players I killed, because they tried to hit me once, missed, then I saw two tags through the windows, and the third person got out when I finally bit the dust.
