Flagpole inside on xbox

I have been trying to set up a flagpole in the metal building with the blue doors. I can not place the kit. It wont turn white.   I would think th ceiling is high enough. Can build a fire in there with out problem .This is on a xbox one. Is ther some kind of lockout for indoor flag poles?

I am seeing the same issue. We are on an official server and have a base in the forest. The area was flat enough to put down improvised tents, crates, fire pit/oven, fence kit, etc. When I try to put down the flagpole kit, it flashes white when it is pulled out and then never again. I was wondering if this was a known issue or not.
