Coughing, but not losing blood

Hi there,

Today I was outside at night and my temperature dropped to around 30-32 C.

I wanted to set up a fireplace when suddenly my char started to cough.

After my tempval has risen to 42 again, he was coughing for 10 minutes, but still not losing blood.

I disconnected and connected the same server and the coughing was gone.

My question is:

What was that? A bugged Cold/ Infection or something else?

You might be sick, I suggest getting some Anitbiotics from a Hospital. But the chances of you getting Anitbiotics is like 0.2% chance.

You have about 48 hours before you turn into a zombie is my guess. Or could be a cold and you need antibiotics. Which I have never ever seen in game yet.

Sounds like you have an infection. As Tim said, you need antibiotics. I'm unsure of the detriment to your health with it though, you may gradually start losing health after a while if left untreated.

You had a cold and you cured it by lighting a fire

But for some reason it gave the symptoms of being infected when you had not contracted the infection.... Perhaps you are immune?

Today i checked again and he was still not couching/ losing blood.

Pro cold arguments:

+ Did not lose any blood

+ Cured by standing near fireplace, but stopped couching after reconnect.

Con cold arguments:

- No shaking at all

Pro infection arguments:

+ Char was coughing and spluttering

+ Even after rising my temperature to 42, he continued to do so.

Con infection arguments:

- Did not lose any blood

Maybe it was just a bugged, weak cold.

I could hear coughing the other night and thought there was someone near me using direct chat with their mic always open or something. Spent ages crawling about trying to work out where they were....turns out the female char has a male cough, was scaring the carp out of me until I worked it out :)
