Water collection system

Recommended Posts

Since bases become more popular, a water collection system would be good for survival. I imagine it as a barrel with slots to attach some items to specialize it for the purpose. Maybe tarp (since it's been introduced) and netting (a lot as a filter) or/and chlorine tablets. you could go up to it with a bottle or a canteen and fill up. Maybe you can refill it with a jerry can that you topped in a well or any other source. If the source was contaminated then the filters would do the job of cleaning it. Or it could be filled by rain, same way crops are watered by it.

Keep up the good work!

A barrel does actually catch water already. Just leave it outside with the lid open and it will slowly fill with rainwater. Look at it with a bottle/canteen/pot in hand to transfer some water.
