Hacker on Official Server Dayz US 3664284

Lost a 30+ hour base yesterday to a hacker. From what I've read, I doubt anything will be done. But as a warning to anyone who may play on this official server, you may want to switch servers.

Me and a buddy spent hours securing green mountain radio tower facility. 3 external gates even with the rock that you can fence jump with blocked by 3 additional fences. 4 internal metal gates inside police building which was our loot room. Lost about 30 crates full of loot and 3 barrels full of loot.

I was outside our base near the front gate which is the entrance to green mountain facility which I guess you can call the barbed wire most outer fence of the facility. We keep the front gate locked, my buddy at the time was on the staircase inside our loot room which is inside the police building.

We were online for about an hour inside our base which unintentionally you can see we cleared the whole inside. 0% chance anyone was inside.

My buddy was organizing some loot inside our loot room while I was searching the forest outside the base. Our front gate is locked. As I am entering the gate code to get back inside the base, I am killed with about 3-4 shots of a suppressed gun before I can enter the last two digits of the gate lock.

I immediately am calling out dead dead dead in discord to my buddy who is inside our loot room.

Our loot room has 3 Gates inside the building and a V shaped fence/gate combo covering the front door on the outside. All gates were closed but not locked. He gets to the bottom of the stairs to open Gate #3 to start the lockdown at Gate#2. As he reaches the bottom of the stairs he is immediately shot the same way and is dead. There was no direct line of sight from outside the building as there was still closed gates blocking any possible way of a line of sight shot from an enemy.

This is about 3-4 seconds after I die from outside the gate. Which there would be no possible way to have a line of sight on me outside the base and my buddy inside a building inside the base.

THIS IS WHERE THINGS GOT INTERESTING AND EVEN MORE SO CONFIRMED IT WAS A HACKER.

After about 10-15 minutes of analyzing how it would be possible someone killed us in that manner in that amount of time, we remember our 3rd friend who doesn't play as much but is logged out inside our base right outside the police building(our loot room) near the corner of the building near the back wall which we called our courtyard.

I send him a text and get his login info as a last ditch effort to possibly see the intruder or to retake the base.

I log in to dayz on his account and stream it to discord to my buddy who also got killed so there is an extra set of eyes once I log in. I log in and sit perfectly still. I can see our front gate and can see the barracks building and I also can see the needle radio tower from my point of view. Both of us do not see anyone outside but we do hear a player inside out loot room who made a sound or two and then stopped moving.

I still did not move my player at all so no feet shuffling sound was made and there was no possible way unless visually seen anyone would know I was sitting outside our loot room.

I immediately get shot about 3-4 times but oddly enough I hardly received much damage at all. The sound is coming from the loot room. I am staring at a wall as I turned to face the sound of the shots. It is as if he is shooting me through the building. I run about 5 feet to the left and I start spinning around looking everywhere to see If i see someone and maybe the shot sound was off. There is no one in sight. I run to the loot room where I heard the shots since they left all the gates open.

I trip a landmine blocking the way to the loot room. They were definitely in the loot room and blocked the only way in with a landmine. Confirming I was being shot through multiple walls from a second floor room with no windows to where I was at outside. There was no way they could have come out of that room with a landmine blocking the way. It was as if I was being shot through the map.

I have video of the incident since my buddy recorded it while i was streaming on discord. Like I said I know that nothing most likely could be fixed since there are no admins on official servers. Base was lost, time was lost by a hacker ruining the game. Discouraged to even play again.... and this was my 4th play through after dying by legit players which I have no problem with. I would prefer to be raided or die by being outshot. But by dying from a hacker, it just discourages any further play.

 

So BEWARE if you are currently playing on SERVER: DayZ US 3664284 , happened at green mountain facility.

It is afterall-- Just a game.

 I see cheaters as a random in game element of danger and not real people (because they are not playing like a real person to begin with) sorta like running into a bear.

Some people take it a step further by cheating and act is if there gonna win some malaculant prize in the end or join some fraternity in college if they get a good score

But in the end you can take comfort in a couple things.

   1. You can feel sorry for the player that HAS to play unfairly, in a VIDEO GAME! (cmon - He has to be able to get a kill or two in sometime)

   2. U can vizualize yourself patting him on the head and congratulations on a job well done, for a false sence of self esteem.

   3. Praise him for rookie of the year for actualy getting to the point he is at of cheating without cheating his way there BUT never know though- he might have stolen his mommas credit card to purchase the badly needed help.

4. In the end, try and learn something from it. wether deserved or not. for even if the lesson is to quit playing- it is something you can exclaim you have overcome and had happen to you in conversation. 

All-in-All. The main reason people cheat is because they are not adaptable at playing games... Makes me feel sorry for them just posting this, So you got to let them have a win once and a while. Poor people, Just because of that fact alone, keeps me content. and it is Fact. Never know- he might be mentally or physically challenged.  More then not he prolly is just not good at games and wants to fit in the best they can. this means your levels above- without saying a word.
