GPU and CPU usage constantly at 100% when in game

Hi,

Recently started playing DayZ again. I played it at the start of the year and had not problems regarding my CPU or GPU maxing out, but now that I've come back to the game for some reason the moment I spawn in my CPU and GPU shoot up to 100% usage. I have tried reinstalling the game, and tried both modded and unmodded, but both have the same problem.

My GPU is a GTX1070, my CPU is an i7-9700F, and I have 16GB of RAM, so specs are not a problem. As I previously said, I played the game earlier this year on the same setup and it ran fine.

Anyone else had this problem or know how to solve it?

Try it:
1. After a fresh installation of the game, optimize the disk where the game folder is.
2. Deleting the game does not remove the "DayZ" folder from "my documents". Go to the "my documents" folder, find the DayZ folder, rename the "DayZ" folder to "DayZ1", or delete the "DayZ" pack. Starting the game creates a new "DayZ" folder and new files in it.

Are you running any programs that optimize the CPU or affect the CPU, such as Lasso?
