Fire damage to tents.

Does anyone know if I place a fireplace outside but really close to say a military tent, will the fire damage the tent because it is close ?  Or is that not a thing in the game ?

The fire wont damage your tent as far as I'm aware. Only items placed within the fire should get damaged & for the love of god dont stand on it lol

Yup, fire only damages things put in it and you if you stand in it. No damage to setup tents, built bases, or any in game items no matter how close you put the fire to it.
