Cannot connect to any servers ps4

Recommended Posts

Starting three weeks ago I randomly was unable to connect to the community server I play on. Upon that happening I deleted/reinstalled multiple times. Reset ps4/my network. Forwarded ports , etc etc. still no luck. And now I can’t get into hardly any servers official or community. It will go to the server loading screen , load half way, the red bar shakes and then I time out. I was able to get on a server with my phones hotspot . But of course after I go and buy more hotspot data , I can’t use that now either to get in. I can play any other game on my ps4 but not DayZ. And I tried emailing customer support but to no response . Any help would be great.

I have xfinity . And it’s wireless. I hardwired it then to the ps4 , no luck. I used my phones hotspot which is not even close to as good, and I was able to get into a server finally . But my regular network works with all other games.

Some networks have poor latency which can stop you connecting to game servers. For example at home I only have a 50mb connection and it works great for online games.

At my place of work, we have a much faster 300mb connection, but the latency is relatively poor, so when using the Internet there it works fine but does not allow online games to be played on it.

Sometimes it's forced to prevent such use as online gaming. Other times its just a poor Internet service provider. At my work, its forced to stop us playing games when we should be working.
