What is happening to official server

Hello Guy, 

I jumped recently into the game and was surprise on how official server are set up. 

Where are pitch black nights, it is at most like dawn (night vision google are useless) 

All server are on time  *6.2

What about rain, I can hear it but no droplet visible and no more damp or drench status.

Haven't played on official servers for a long time. I do not know. Did the crazy cheaters stay there?
