Garden Plot Despawn Time

Hello guys,

   My friend planted a garden plot in the area of one of our base walls about a month ago and we’ve been trying so hard to get it to de spawn but won’t go away. We’ve removed our flag and it’s been about two weeks without anyone interacting with it. Please help me I don’t think I’ve had any problems with it until this new 1.09 update.

I would think the same thing, see if you can interact with it with a pickax or shovel in hand......seems the whole dang game is getting clogged with gardens just getting "slapped down" with people who are dealing with the new food mechanics....coast is just one giant garden plot.
