A completely different DayZ experience awaits....

ANNOUNCING... PITCH BLACK!
It's freezing, the rain is a killing machine, the zeds are aggressive, and it's night.  A few towns have lights, but you need to find your own personal light so you can search for essentials.  Moving North and West, things get much harder.  Military zeds are very hardcore, and then there are The Designators at VMC, Good Luck with them!  Clues are in the lore description on the server and in the image below.  Good Luck!

This is different.  It's harder, you will earn loot.  Make a mistake, and you will get punished.  Your gameplay must slow down.  You will find grouping up to be more beneficial, especially dealing with zeds. 

It's always night, towns have a few lights, but using flashlights and chem lights and such are necessary to find smaller items, be careful, they give your position away.  Stay dry as best as you can, it's cold, and the rain will make you sick... or dead.

Zed AI is tweaked to hear and see you from further away.  Certain zeds are much harder to kill.  Swarming is a specialty, always have an exit plan at the ready.

VMC has been taken over by some extremely hardcore anomalies called Designators.  You can't kill them, they teleport closer when you are NOT looking at them.  If they "tag" you, they take away a lot of health.  Always look at them while looting.  Time your looting expedition to the airdrop for the best goodies, but you will also have some hardcore zeds to deal with as well.  Friends would be helpful, but we have had a couple to loot there alone, it's definitely challenging, and frightening.  The Designators are scary as hell.

Build a base and find others, we use Vanilla base building.  Good luck!

We have adjusted Stamina so it provides a more realistic situation when running long distances.  Sorry, we don't do Infinite Stamina, but you will be able to run long distances AND carry quite a bit of gear, but jumping/vaulting and climibing will take a penalty.  You recover much faster than Vanilla.

It's hard, but in a good way hard.
