Creepyticler 0 Posted August 23, 2020 I am new to playing dayz and I watch a lot of dayz videos on YouTube. I am wondering why there isn't as many different types of guns on the Xbox version. TheYetiBum 790 Posted August 27, 2020 There are no mods on Console like the Weapons+ mods that exist on PC DayZ, only modded server files that add in weapons that are in the game files & add extra buildings that are also in the game files. No new items or mechanics can be added to console Dayz unfortunately. So you wont find any servers that contain anything other than a handful of melee weapons & items that are in the game files but not added back into the main game yet .
