Please Make Night Darker Again

Recommended Posts

Nights used to actually be dark enough to require the use of a flashlight and there was a real advantage to using night vision goggles.

Myself and a lot of other people I speak to on Reddit would really enjoy nights in this game to become so dark that we need a flashlight, similar to how “HC” servers are. If you guys are not willing to do this could you get rid of the personal light in the “HC” servers? It damages the immersion

Please do not make nights darker on regular servers.  This is how you chase consumers away.

Removing personal lights on hardcore servers is a fine idea.

Yeah that personal light actually makes it harder to see stuff in the distance often haha. I also think that it looks very unnatural and i never needed it. I think hardcore servers could definetly do without it, they are supposed to be hardcore after all 😉

On official servers, not every night is the same, and that's a good thing.

On community servers, it's fully up to the admins.

All flashlights, torches and lamps are unecessary right now. Night without moon should be darker to use them sometimes (especially in the forest or into houses).
