DayZ Server Multiple IPs on a single machine?

Recommended Posts

I have multiple static IP addresses on my machine. Is there a way to configure the DayZ Server to run on a single one of them? I was looking for something along the lines of a parameter like: -ip=127.0.0.1 or something like that.

I'm aware of the fact that you can run different servers using different ports, however, I'm having issues with a custom launcher that doesn't recognize the differences in port ranges, only IP addresses. For this reason, my users get confused when I host using a different port, (because that change is not filterable on the launcher).

Thank you in advance for any assistance you're able to provide!

It is not necessary to change ip. What you have to do is change the ports.
Example Server 1:
- steamPort: 2302
- steamQueryPort: 27016

Example Server 2:
-steamPort: 2402
-steamQueryPort: 27116

You have to jump 100 in 100 and declare in which Query port you want the server to be shown. If it is possible to run two servers on the same port, but it will only take the information of the first one that is turned on.
Sorry for my bad english.

in your start.bat

in your serverDZ.cfg

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the help! 😄

I've figured out how to assign the DayZ server to a new static IP using a batch script I coded. Now I can run multiple DayZ servers on different ports and IP addresses on the same machine.

Soon I'll make my discovery public so other people can do this!

Just run it on different ports with the same IP.  It's really simple if you just use Omega Manager.  It will practically do everything for you, just make sure the ports are open on your Windows Firewall, that is all.
