Dead Player Loot Issue

After looting a dead player ir finding loot in a discarded hoodie, say an apple. When I go to rt trigger ( playing on Xbox) the progress wheel momentarily pops up then disappears . Repeated rght triggering produced same result. I have tried this on weapons even a glow stick will not work.

items I loot in environment or spawn wth work fine. Tried logging in and out - issue continues.

any ideas ? Thanks for the help

Usually if that happens, put the clothing item in your hands and then transfer items to your inventory. If that doesn't work try a relog.

Hmm, dunno then. It's always worked for me so maybe someone else has a solution. Maybe ask on the reddit subs too, not a lot of people on here lately.

i had this and it was infuriating. Unfortunately I could not make it work until I switched servers.
