Keep spawning as a female toon

Game froze up and I restarted. This time it started me as a female toon. Went in and changed it back, but everytime I reload I start as this female toon. How do you delete a character and start new?

This is the PC section, so I assume you're playing on PC.

With Steam and DayZ shut down, delete your /My Documents/DayZ folder and try again.  Be advised though that this will also delete your settings, so you'll have to setup your graphics, sensitivities, custom keybinds, etc. again after this.
