A harsher consequence for bandits

Recommended Posts

I've noticed that most of the time no one even responds to "friendly" anymore, because there's no drawback to killing and taking someones stuff.

So here's my suggestion: A harsher consequence for those who kill a lot.

One example might be zed encounters. The higher the kill count of the bandit, the more likely zeds are able to spot you even in crouched mode. Something to do with them smelling blood on you. Or zeds going after a bandit with a high kill count rather than going after someone who has lower or none.

meh, as much as i hate bandits, they shouldnt be discouraged, they are part of ze game.

tis the random/bored/stat chasing killing that needs to be discouraged

Why institute arbitrary and forced penalties in a simulator? How bout this, why don't we handle things like we do in real life, this is a simulator after all. Take names, and kick their asses? I'm not a bandit, don't shoot people unless they start crap, but still don't want to see some sort of forced conditions that make no sense.
