First day (in z), suggestions and issues

In the first city I entered, I was shot, managed to escape and hide in the forest, arriving in another city in front, had no items with me, I found 2 friendly players there, accepted that I accompany them on the walk, one of them died shortly after some illness, the other continued with me to the next city, where we were languishing with hunger but we found human flesh, we had no other choice, he had the matches and I knew how to make the fire. In the next town, we found a pick for me and a knife for him, but hunger was not helping, zombies attacking and no food, I had no choice, it was to kill or die, I had to kill my friend, but just before I said it was nothing personal I just needed to eat, I took his matches, and absolutely everything else he had, now I move on, without hunger or thirst, but laughing hahaha

 

About the suggestions, well, I think one of the focuses of the game is immersion, both in terms of realism and the world around the player, I wondered about it, and thought "what the hell of a survivor would be in the middle of the apocalypse on a beach with nothing but fruit and cloths? ". The idea I had was basically that instead of spawning the player always the same way, and unrealistically, why not putting it on the skin of someone who has been surviving for a long time, has been facing difficult times and now the player will have to take it on? For example, someone who was sleeping in an abandoned house or apartment or a camo, had little food, maybe some ammo, maybe some weapon without ammo, a bag falling apart, or something like that, a random initial loot befitting someone who was screwing himself in the apocalypse. Exploring this idea, we can even bring items, for example, that refer to the story of the character, where he came from, what he was doing, why he is surviving, what he is looking for, things like that, this kind of thing may be present. both in player dialogues, as well as in items he has, such as photos or diaries or the like. Exploring further, we can define a certain personality type, say let's say the player never fired before the apocalypse, barely even knows how to move a weapon, well, or maybe he's too fearful and anxious, well, that could bring some initial difficulties, such as shaking when aiming a weapon, failing to shoot, or failing to reload, which could soon be corrected with a little practice of the player's movement. Anyway, that part of the player's story and psyche are secondary, I would really like to see is the part of the player having a realistic spawn.

 

I believe this can increase so immersion and interest of the players. We will have something to take responsibility for, not just a fruit and 4 pieces of cloth

bout the problems: which person can not survive more than one night without drinking or eating?

Um if your on the old map finding food guns gear ect is easy.    Just walk the coastline.   Almost every row boat has something.    Id be happy with just the rock knife back.   Even that is easy to make if i remember right its 2 small stone and you can find stone on paths and the track.    Hell you get even less on the new map.     It gives you a sense of accomplishment surviving on less.    Maybe DayZ just isn't the game for you? Perhaps you should try COD.

Did you Read the rest of this forum. What you suggested is old and talked about a thousand times and Will not happen. No soft skills. (Was planned, but hey what wasnt)

And Read up on the original story. You washed up ashore as a nobody. Now you can make your own story.

On community servers, the server owners can edit the starting loot. On official, you will always get almost nothing to start. That's default vanilla, no admins, no changes in configs.
