Did you play Arma 2 DayZ? I did. You know the one thing I absolutely loved about Arma 2 DayZ? The subtle and quiet music that was constantly playing in the background. Yes, you could turn it off, but to me it was that add immersion that kicked the game up a level. Coming around the corner to find a dead body and that perfectly time sound went off at the same time really amped things up. Unfortunately, as many of you are aware, we lost that when we went to Standalone. Yes we get an intro song (which, I personally hate) but nothing in game. Would you like it back? Well, no worries!

This is a re-re-re-upload of this file. I'm sure it's been slammed down on these forums multiple times, but it's been a minute since i've seen it up here myself. So without further waste of your precious time.

How does this work?

Very simple. Copy the entire folder to your computer, and then, put the entire folder in a media player of your choice. I personally use Win-amp because it just works so well. With all the files uploaded on your media player put your settings like this.
Repeat : On (all if you're using winamp)
Playlist Shuffle : On

Now the file itself already has short blank files in it, this will cause separation in your music playing and not constantly loop it. With random being on, you may get a sound, or you may get a blank file. This keeps the sounds fresh and long silent spots just like in the mod.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
