goober_dan__ 0 Posted December 6, 2019 I have been trying to play dayz on my new computer and I am new to pc gaming. I keep getting the error "STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND". I have tried deleting and reinstalling the game and I have tried restoring the pc to an earlier version but still no luck. I have searched online to try and find a solution but all I get is shady Russian websites and people rewriting their code, which I don't know how to do. Any tips would help, thanks. So make sure all the relevant exe files are running as an administrator and make sure the folder also has its Administrators group assigned for write/update permissions (right-click on folder, select Properties, select Security tab). I was looking at that just now and I only have accounts with administrative access So I don't think that is the issue.
