CR Breaker 0 Posted November 30, 2019 Recently, I've been getting the error "Bad Service Version". I found this error only yesterday as I was trying to connect to my favorite DM server. While receiving help from the Server owners, I was told it could be my virus protection software. I thought this was the case, so I went through my settings (Net guard) and even excluded DZSA, BattlEye, and even DayZ from being scanned by the firewall and when I connect I still get the same error. drgullen 597 Posted November 30, 2019 Try removing the Battleye files from your DayZ installation and then use the "Verify Game Files" within Steam, which should download and replace them. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
