Anyone use text chat in the PC version

I have just bought Dayz on the PC as I played it on the Xbox One X in the past and enjoyed it.

However, I have found so far that no one use text chat so wondered if it was obsolete now.

Also on the Xbox version you used to be able to list the players in game so can you do that on the PC?

On vanilla servers, text chat is only local to yourself. Global chat is via a mod. Player list isn't available on vanilla, but it is on modded ones.
