Big test drive cars in DayZ

Recommended Posts

Hello to all survivors!
In this post I want to share my experience in driving a car in DAYZ!
I’ve been driving almost every day for more than a month, I drive a car very actively and want to share this driving experience!

So here:
1. Do not exceed a speed of more than 50 km \ h - because often there is a server and client disynchronization and you can crash into objects and lose a car.
2. Use only 1st and 2nd gear. 1 transmission in cities and villages, 2 transmission on the highway and smooth roads. Forget about 3rd and 4th gear. Because disynchron and crash car.
3. Stop the car every 3-5 km for a few seconds. Let the server sync your car with your character. Otherwise, it will throw you off the server and you will have to run to the car 100 meters or more.
4. The recommended speed in large cities is 20-30 km / h. You can very easily lose a car if you drive in the city at a faster speed.
5. Do not drive without spare parts, gas cans, and water cans. In any case, you lose a car if you crash or the wheel may break (2 cases)
6. Do not remove spare parts from the car when you leave. I think cars can disappear without spare parts.
7. If you were thrown by the server when you were driving, do not be discouraged, re-enter and run forward 100-300 meters. This is a disynchron.
8. In a very steep hill, the car does not ride without speed.
9. Carefully, at low speed, drive barricades along the road, do not drive around barricades. I often crashed into poorly visible objects around barricades.
10. Drive only on roads or on very flat terrain. Can be easily bumped or stuck.
11. Take a minimum of loot with you and store only spare parts in the trunk. This will help save the car.

12. Sometimes a car starts to jump and fly up - quickly stop and turn off the engine, very rarely you have to get out of a car.

13. Do not collect a lot of zombies around the car - drive away from them!!! This causes the game to slow down and sometimes crash from the server.

14. Turn of the road - slow down speed!

Have a nice road!

What spare parts should I take with me ?:

- radiator  !!! (better have 2 radiators),

-wheel (better have 2 wheels),

-battery,

-spark plug,

-gas canister,

-water canister  !!!

... that's it

Other things are not needed (do not load the trunk with other things to avoid evil desynchronization)
