Please fix your website - it’s constantly popping up a cookies agreement that doesn’t go away

this will not go away no matter what I do. I have hit “got it!” Every time it pops up and it does nothing. Every new page I visit, it comes back.

 

This is extremely annoying. Like extremely annoying, and I don’t think I will use these forums again until this is fixed.

This doesn't happen to me -- you might check your browser settings to see when you have your cookies set to expire.  One of the options in my browser is to keep the cookie only until I close the browser, so perhaps you have that set?

If the cookie is getting removed after each session, that would explain it anyway.

One issue I have been getting recently on here a lot is a 504 Gateway timeout error.  It clears up usually with a page refresh or two, but is kinda annoying -- anyone else getting that?

I am just using stock safari in non private mode, literally no special settings. Even if I was using some kind of special setting or configuration, when every other website works perfectly fine and doesn’t constantly harass me about cookies, keeps me logged indefinitely, I wouldn’t change them just so this site would work properly. I have browsed hundreds of sites that require cookies and none of them show this kind of behavior.

 

Most people browse the internet on a mobile device now, there is no excuse for the site to be broken on iOS. I can’t even remember the last time I used a PC to browse the web.
